Summer vacation has officially started. You can tell that it is official now that the slip and slide has made an appearance. My back lawn may never be the same again. 
Tyler put on his suit but never actually made it outside. 
It is also official now that one child has stood in a fire ant nest. I found that baking soda made into a paste and put on the bites helps with the itch. Being put into a Benedryl coma also seemed to do the trick. Poor Claire she had about 50+ bites that are now lovely blisters but they don't itch so they won't be lovely scars.

AAAhh Poor Claire! Well, hopefully this is the only issue that comes up for her this summer. The others seem to be having tons of fun.
I am getting mine out this week. Claire even looks cute when she is covered with stuff.
